The Village of Liberty has recently been made aware that Village of Liberty water customers may be experiencing water discoloration. This is due to a water main break on the transmission line for the Village’s Parksville filtration plant. Please note: The water is not contaminated. Water department crews are actively flushing the lines to resolve this issue but we anticipate this problem to continue into the weekend. To facilitate and expedite the correction of this issue Village of Liberty water users are being asked to limit their water usage as much as possible and avoid heavy water usage activities such as washing laundry etc. We apologize for this inconvenience and ask for your patience.
