This district is intended to protect agricultural activities from incompatible uses and complement the New York State Agricultural District Program by encouraging only those forms of development which complement agricultural activities. The district is further intended to preserve sensitive natural areas and ensure they are used in ways which adapt to those limitations and do not threaten the health and safety of adjacent landowners.
