Meet Our Staff & Board Members

 

Brian Scardefield, Director

Brian has been with the department since 1997. He started out as the Park Supervisor and was promoted to the Director's position in the spring of 2001. Brian has a Bachelors Degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies from the State University of New York, College at Cortland.

  Linda Mullen, Secretary

Linda rounds out our team as our office secretary and all around hard worker.  Whenever the time crunch is on, Linda is there no matter what the activity or event.  From flipping burgers to filing invoices, Linda is tops at her job.  Having worked for the Office of the Aging meal site prior to joining us 1994, Linda has a wealth of information on the department, our community and its citizens.  She's the "right hand" to all.

Andrew Dworetsky , Parks Supervisor

Andrew has been with the department since the spring of 2001. He has lived in Liberty the majority of his life and is a graduate of Liberty Central School. Andrew loves working in the outdoors and takes great pride in making our parks beautiful places for people to come and enjoy themselves.

Chris Sinceno , Assistant Recreation Director

Chris joined the Parks and Recreation team as a full time Assistant in 2006. He has an Associates Degree from Alfred State University. He previously worked for the department as a summer camp counselor during his high school and college years. Chris has always been known to have a wonderful rapport weith both children and adults.

Our Board meets on the first Monday of every month at 5:30PM in the upstairs hall of the senior citizens building located at 119 North Main Street in the Village of Liberty.  Public always welcome.
