Registration Begins for Town of Liberty Football and Cheerleading Programs

Signup starts for summer flag football, fall football and cheerleading teams.  

LIBERTY, N.Y. (June 7, 2017) – With the official first day of summer in just a few short weeks, the Town of Liberty has programs available to residents and non-residents in flag football, football and cheerleading for this summer and fall season.

The flag football program is designed for both boys and girls in grades 1st through 6th and is a great non-contact football program for the summer. The program offers the fundamentals of learning flag football with an emphasis on fun and fair play. The program will be held on Tuesdays from July 5th through July 26th. It will be held at the Liberty High School practice football field from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. The cost for Liberty residents is $10 and the cost for non-residents is $20.

Signup for the Liberty Warriors Fall 2017 season has started. Children must be in grades 2nd through 6th with the season tasking place during the fall 2017 school year. Registrations is based on a first come first serve basis and ends on July 20th. Due to limited space, early registration is encouraged. The cost for Liberty residents is $50 per child and the cost for non-residents is $60 per child. Pads and helmet(s) are provided and must be returned at the end of the season. The equipment fitting will be held on July 20th and all players will be able to keep jerseys.

The Liberty Warriors Cheerleading Team pre-registration has also started. The cheerleading program will teach creative cheers and basic routines throughout the season, all while providing excitement and energy on the field to support the Warriors football team. Cheerleaders will receive a uniform, which must be returned at the end of the season. The cost for Liberty residents is $40 per child and the cost for non-residents is $50 per child.
