TownofLiberty.org touts the exciting opportunities to “live”, “play” and “do business” at the “Crossroads” of the Catskills and Hudson Valley.

LIBERTY, N.Y. (May 31, 2016) – The Town of Liberty will re-launch TownofLiberty.org on Friday, May 27, providing users with access to a more visually appealing and technologically responsive website to navigate. This newly updated website is part of a multi-faceted approach by the town to position itself as the place to “live”, “play” and “do business” in the Catskills. The effort coincides with exciting economic developments in Sullivan County, including the development of the Montreign Resort Casino which will inject millions of dollars into the local economy.

“The Town of Liberty is a great place to call home, visit for recreation, or locate a business,” said Town of Liberty Supervisor Charlie Barbuti. “This updated version of TownofLiberty.org will help us get the word out that we roll out the red carpet for new residents, visitors and businesses alike.”

The updated website has more intuitive navigation and resizes across all devices including mobile phones. It also features local photographs, including photography graciously provided by local photographer Jean Dermer. Convenient features like a calendar of events and a news and announcements section should benefit residents and visitors alike. Three dedicated microsites and online videos feature reasons to live, play and do business in Liberty.

“This newly updated website will serve the town government’s needs by housing important documents and departmental information,” said Town of Liberty Councilman Russell Reeves. “But it will also serve as a marketing tool for the Town of Liberty to attract businesses, homeowners and visitors by featuring “Play” “Live” and “Do Business” dedicated sections.”

The “Live” microsite and video highlight the town’s nationally ranked school district, affordable housing, available land, employment opportunities at large local businesses, convenient downtown dining and shopping, and scenic recreational sites. The microsite also features a real estate search for residential housing and land on the market in Liberty.

The “Play” microsite and video highlight the town’s unrivaled outdoor recreation opportunities including Walnut Mountain, Swan Lake and numerous golf courses. It also features the wide range of dining options in Liberty and nearby tourist attractions including Bethel Woods Center for the Arts and the future Montreign Resort Casino.

The “Do Business” microsite and video highlight the town’s business friendly climate, strategic location, and abundance of affordable properties. The microsite also features a real estate search for commercial buildings and land on the market in Liberty.
