Residents can celebrate Independence Day with a parade, local vendors, and more

LIBERTY, N.Y. (June 26, 2018) – The Town of Liberty’s Fourth of July Festival, organized by the Greater Liberty Chamber of Commerce, will be a day filled with fun, food, face painting, parade, fireworks and more. Locals are encouraged to gather and celebrate America’s Independence Day as a community.

The festival will be held on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. First on the list of many festival activities is The Annual Classic Car Show, which kicks off in front of the Liberty Elementary School behind the Liberty Library at 10:30 a.m. The Annual Car Show is sponsored by Immaculate Concepts.

The festival’s parade, which will feature floats from local businesses and classic cars from The Annual Car Show will begin at 12:05 p.m. Throughout the day there will be a children’s area with bouncy houses, face painting, and more located in the Former TD Bank parking lot. A fireworks display will commence at dusk.

“We’re excited to give our community a place to gather, have fun, and celebrate the Fourth of July holiday,” said Liberty Town Supervisor Brian Rourke. “Our parade, car show, and fireworks seem to get better every year. We encourage all to come out and enjoy this fun-filled day.”

The rain date for the Liberty Festival is set for Saturday, July 7, 2018. For more information on the Liberty Festival, visit: http://libertynychamber.com/event/liberty-festival-fourth-july-2018/.
