Town of Liberty Public Information Meeting on Proposed Zoning

This meeting will include a presentation by Behan Planning and Design on the progress of the review of the land use and zoning element of the 2008 town comprehensive plan and possible changes to the town land use (zoning and subdivision) code. The town board and its consultants have been reviewing the town planning documents and the town code with the goal of updating the town code to better prepare the town for positive growth and change while protecting and enhancing the natural, cultural and infrastructure assets of the community.
The public is invited to learn of the town’s progress in this review and to secure community input on the plan and zoning update. Changes in zoning may affect what you can do with your property so it is important for you to attend.
