NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
SWAN LAKE/BRISCOE ROAD CONSOLIDATED SEWER DISTRICT IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
4/20/21
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Liberty, in the County of Sullivan, State of New York, will meet at the Hanofee Park pavilion, Liberty, New York, on April 20, 2021, at 5:30 P.M. (Prevailing Time), for the purpose of conducting a public hearing in relation to the proposed increase and improvement of facilities of the Swan Lake/Briscoe Road Consolidated Sewer District, consisting of the construction of improvements to the Wastewater Treatment Plant facilities, including related and ancillary work and engineering, legal and other costs, at an estimated maximum cost of $18,000,000. The map, plan and report dated April 1, 2021 describing the proposed project is available for inspection at the office of the Town Clerk at Town Hall during regular Town Hall business hours.
Please note that, due to assembly restrictions currently in effect, the meeting is scheduled to be held at the alternate location (Hanofee Park pavilion, Liberty, New York) specified above. The meeting will be conducted in conformity with social distancing and any other assembly requirements in effect on the date of the meeting. At said public hearing, the Town Board will hear all persons interested in said subject matter thereof.
NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that, due to public health and safety concerns related to COVID-19, and in accordance with the Governor’s Executive Orders, this public hearing will be available for attendance by videoconference and teleconference via Zoom at:
