NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF THE 2021 TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL
PURSUANTTO §506 AND §526 OF THE REAL PROPERTY TAX LAW
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assessor for the Town of Liberty, County of Sullivan, has completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for the current year and that a copy will be available for review as of May 1, 2021 online at:
https://www.sullivanny.us/Departments/RealProperty/AssessmentRolls or on the Town of Liberty website: www.townofliberty.org. If a person does not have access to the Internet, they may call the Assessor’s office for information. Appointments can be scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday between 8:30am-4:30pm Wednesday 6pm-8pm, Saturday 11am-1pm Starting May 10th-15th, 2021.
The Board of Assessment Review is scheduled to meet on Grievance Day, Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Due to the Covid-19 Executive Order 202.22, the grievance hearings may be held by appointment and/or electronically from remote locations. Please consult the Town of Liberty website for updated information.
Since in-person hearings may not be held, it is imperative that a fully completed RP-524 complaint form, with all supporting documentation, be submitted on or before May 25,2021, until 8:00 p.m.
