On Thursday, October 3, 2019 Town of Liberty Supervisor Brian P. Rourke and Councilman Vince McPhillips presented former Town Supervisor Charlie Barbuti III with an official Town Board Resolution recognizing his many years of service to the community as a local business leader. When Charlie closed his store in August, it was more than seven decades since his father first began working at Russel Hodge Appliance & Furniture, the store that would become Charlie Barbuti Furniture. Charlie has taken the opportunity to retire, and the Town drafted a resolution to thank Charlie for always “making people comfortable”.
