Town of Liberty Wrestling Program Looking for Participants

Warriors Wrestling Club teaches basic skills in a fun, competitive environment.

LIBERTY, N.Y. (February 19, 2016) – The Liberty Parks and Recreation Department will host a developmental wrestling program on Saturday mornings at 10 a.m. in the Liberty High School wrestling room. The Warriors Wrestling Club will run from March 12 through April 9 and welcomes children from grades two through six.

“Our program is designed to introduce kids to the basic skills of wrestling,” said Town of Liberty Parks and Recreation Director Brian Scardefield. “Participants will enjoy fun, friendship, physical activity and sportsmanship; all while learning a competitive sport.”

The cost of the program is $15.00 for Town of Liberty residents and $25.00 for nonresidents. Preregistration is required. Visit the Town of Liberty’s website: www.townofliberty.org.
