Public Hearing for proposed Swan Lake Waste Water Treatment Plant upgrade to be held at Hanoffee Park on August 31 at 6pm

To the Residents of Liberty,

I hope you are all well and safe during these challenging times. While we have all had to adjust our lifestyles and schedules during the Covid-19 pandemic, Town business has proceeded as normally as possible under the guidelines of state and national officials and agencies.

We have a Public Hearing scheduled for the proposed Swan Lake Waste Water Treatment Plant upgrade at 6pm on August 31st. In an effort to have as much live public participation as possible, the meeting is scheduled to take place at the pavilion in Hanoffee Park. Hopefully the weather holds out so those not under the pavilion will be comfortable outside.

For the safety of the public and in accordance with the New York State Governor’s mandates, social distancing and masks will be required. The meeting will also be video recorded and put on the Town’s website the following day and the hearing will remain open until September 14th to allow the public further comments via email.

We look forward to your participation and input on this important project.

Be well and stay safe.
